Eagles, eagerly watched the rocket launch this morning! Watching Britain’s Tim Peake was fascinating. It was a real thrill to watch it live. We were enthralled by the astronauts calmness and how they were still writing while the rocket launched through the air!

Minecraft and Star Wars coding
This week is Computer Science Week and schools around the world are taking part in an Hour of Code- an imitative to promote coding for children.
Year 6 were delighted to find out that they were going to have a go at coding today.
There were several games for each year group to take part in and such as Minecraft and Star Wars.
The children loved taking part. Here are some of the photos.
Fiona Noble books
Year 6 Eagles have been very fortunate to have books given to them from a publisher – Fiona Noble. Fiona has very kindly donated many brand new books for the class story corner and today the children received another batch.
Year 6 love their books, and our story corner is now overflowing with many books from a range of wonderful authors!
Numbers in French
