Goodbye Year 6

This week was an emotional week for the staff and children in Year 6.
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their party and you can find pictures of this below – I tried to make it extra special for them so that they could have an amazing night. We had a brand-new set up and new decorations, along with donut walls, wall of lights and cupcakes donated by one of our lovely parents.
The assembly was absolutely AMAZING. The children smashed their performance and did everybody proud! I was super proud of how they did. We certainly have a few professional actors brewing in that mix! I’m sure all of you parents were super proud of your children too.
My final message is to say that I will miss you all very much Year 6 and I know that everybody else at Bells Farm will too. You have been such a pleasure to teach this year and we have had some real laughs and made some good memories to treasure. I know that you will all be amazing at your new secondary schools and will achieve great things. So be happy and be yourselves! You are all wonderful!!
Thank you for my lovely gifts too. I will treasure them forever and will enjoy the sweet treats very soon!
Love
Miss Edwards

Well Done Y6!

To celebrate completing their final SATs paper of the week, Year 6 partied around the school and onto the field. They then enjoyed a dance and sing-a-long to some of their favourite party songs. All of the children have worked so incredibly hard this week and they should be super proud of themselves! This celebration truly was well deserved. Well done Year 6!!

ERIC is back!

Year 6 have had their very first ERIC session of the year today and they really seemed to enjoy it. Before reading, we all shared with the rest of the class what it is we like to read. The children then had some time to read with their friends or on their own – it was their choice!
